The 2023 Meursault La Piéce Sous Bois 1er Cru shows a little reduction and some undergrowth scents on the nose, just a little disjointed at the moment. The palate is lighter than Pernot's other Meursault and perhaps doesn't quite possess the same degree of complexity and terroir expression. This is a little conservative toward the finish.
