Josselin’s 2020 Les Blancs Millésime originates from two south-facing parcels of Chardonnay, 5% of which was vinified in wood. Disgorged in April 2025 with a dosage of two grams per liter, it unfurls in the glass with aromas of crisp Anjou pear, smoke, white flowers and brioche. Full-bodied and demonstrative yet finely boned, it’s animated by a pillowy mousse and underpinned by a ripe but racy spine of acidity, concluding with a long, penetratingly saline finish.
