Jean Josselin Alliance R.22 NV
A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from a south-facing single parcel, the latter serving—once blended—to temper the richness of the former, Josselin’s NV Alliance R.22 is entirely drawn from the 2022 vintage and was disgorged in March 2025 with a dosage of 2.5 grams per liter. It opens in the glass with aromas of pear, white peach and orange oil, complemented by hints of buttery pastry and red cherry. Full-bodied, broad and fleshy, it’s pillowy and complete, with racy acids, a fine, pillowy mousse and a long, saline finish.
