Coming from a warmer terroir of sandy soils just outside of the village of Mauve, the 2023 Saint Joseph Clos Florentin is always a riper, more supple, sexy wine compared to the more granite-infused estate Saint Joseph. It offers ripe red and black fruits, sweet incense, flowers, and spice on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, round, and supple on the palate, with velvety tannins, no hard edges, and a beautiful finish. You won't find another Saint Joseph with this level of finesse and sexiness.
