The 2023 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru consists of 180 liters this year. Again, the aromatics take a while to get going and seem stuck in first gear. Meanwhile, the palate is lively and well balanced, with lovely white peach and citrus peel notes and a dash of spice on the finish. Delightful.
