There are some places in Priorat that can yield wines of exceptional flavor when bottled individually. This is the case with Paratge Manyetes in Gratallops, crafted by Clos Mogador as Manyetes. The 2021 Manyetes is 100% Cariñena, aged for up to 18 months in oak barrels, demijohns and stoneware jars. This purple-hued wine reveals enticing aromas of sour cherry and wild herbs, along with dusty, balsamic notes. Dry and chalky on the palate, it offers an intense, flavorful experience that lingers with a lean, vibrant and silky texture. This distinctive wine has a reductive character and a lasting, complex finish.
